GGSSS, Silana celebrated the 120th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Sardar Udham Singh at GGSSS, Silana, Jhajjar on Monday. The birth anniversary was celebrated with pomp. During this, tribute was paid by garlanding his oil painting. The speakers gathered on the occasion said that when the British atrocities were at its peak in slave India. In the same period Sardar Udham Singh was born on 26 December 1899 in Sangrur, Punjab. This was the revolutionary who shot General Dyer, who was responsible for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of the freedom struggle, in London, UK. Udham Singh took revenge for the killing of innocent people in India.
